The Story Behind The Shot
Ayumi Sayeo works as a chef in Berlin, Germany. I portrayed her on a Sunday morning at 11 am outside Berghain, Europe’s most famous club, for my Face of Europe project. After my question if she feels more European or Asian, she looked at me uncomprehending and replied: „Ich bin Berlinerin“.
