The Story Behind The Shot
This rift lake is located in southern Siberia, Russia. It’s the largest fresh water lake by volume, containing 22 to 23% of the world’s fresh surface water. With its depth of 1642 m it’s the deepest lake in the world. Moreover, it belongs to the world’s clearest lakes and as a matter of fact, it is 25 to 30 million years old, which makes it the oldest lake in the world. Shortly after sunrise, somewhere on the eastern shore, I was fascinated by its magic intensity, I couldn’t get enough.
