The Story Behind The Shot
When the borders opened up again after the first big wave of Covid-19 in May 2020, I went to possibly the most touristic place in Europe – Venice. When I stood on the famous Ponte di Rialto, this time the visit felt quite bizarre: Usually you’re barely able to find your way through the masses of people, but this time, I had to wait until there were enough people on the bridge to take a picture of them.
