The Story Behind The Shot
We went to Elk, Poland, for a food festival, for the Face of Europe project. I saw this guy that I found really interesting and he was with his friend, the skaterboy, who had a strange look on his face; he seemed melancholy almost. We photographed both of them, but only later did I realize that the skaterboy’s were some of the best pictures of the whole project. And I had only discovered him when he was already right in front of the lens.
