The Story Behind The Shot
In June 2018, we were travelling by car towards Petra, the old city in the desert in Jordan. For a long time, we were driving along the dead sea, time and time again we had to stop. The calm that was given off from that lifeless stretch of water and the dead desert landscape fascinated me. The subdued play of colours, the mystic, the contours of Israel that became visible through the mist. The picture was created in one of these moments, as an attempt to capture this unique atmosphere.
